Currently, voting rights restoration work is taking place in siloes. sometimes, without any coordinated discussions or efforts. Such siloed work has created a patchwork of results whose messaging often conflicts with and undermines the work taking place in other areas. This project, launched in 2023, aims to eliminate these siloes, determine a consensus message, establish message discipline, center the voices of directly impacted people, devise a multi-year, 50-state strategy to fully restore voting rights to all US citizens, and secure funding for that coordinated work.
