#FreeHer March on Washington

On April 2024, approximately 2000 people from across the nation, led by The National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls, descended upon Washington, DC to demand that we end the incarceration of women and girls. We also demanded that Biden grant clemency to the remaining women on the list of 100 women we submitted to his office in 2021 with a special request to #FreeMichelleWest. Michelle West’s clemency application that has made it to President Biden’s desk and only needs his signature. #FreeHer
